Using a combination of comprehensible input and spaced repetition, Blazing Langauge accelerates language learning for students who have already reached CEFR level A1 or higher.
If you are just starting with a new language, we recommend you choose a learning method suitable for absolute beginners, such as DuoLingo or Babbel, and come back here once you have completed the basics and are ready to kick things into high gear with story learning.
If you are already at level A1 or higher in your target language, follow these steps:
- Install Anki (AnkiDroid on Android / AnkiMobile on iOS / Anki Desktop on Windows, MacOS, Linux).
- Select your language and level on the Home Page.
- Choose a story at your level (CEFR levels A1-C2).
- Listen to and read the story in English at least once.
- Read the story aloud in the target language at least once.
- Download the story’s flash card deck, import it into Anki, and study it daily.
- Listen to (and optionally read) the story in the target language daily.
- Advance to the next story when you understand ~80–90% comfortably.
